A quick and healthy snack featuring crisp apple slices paired with a creamy, slightly sweet peanut butter dip made with Greek yogurt and honey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large fresh apples (such as Fuji, Honeycrisp, or Gala)
  • 1/2 cup creamy natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • Chopped nuts or seeds (optional, e.g., chopped peanuts or chia seeds)

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the apples into thin, even slices about 1/4 inch thick, removing any seeds.
  2. Place the apple slices in a medium bowl and drizzle with lemon juice. Toss gently to coat and prevent browning.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter, Greek yogurt, and honey. Stir vigorously until smooth and creamy. Add a teaspoon of water if the dip is too thick.
  4. Optionally, sprinkle cinnamon into the dip or on the apple slices and add chopped nuts or seeds for extra texture.
  5. Arrange apple slices on a serving plate and serve with the peanut butter dip immediately.

Notes

Use lemon juice to prevent apple slices from browning. If the dip thickens after refrigeration, warm slightly and stir before serving. Natural peanut butter is preferred for best texture and flavor. Can substitute almond or sunflower seed butter for allergy-friendly options. Use coconut or almond yogurt for dairy-free version.
