Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (300 g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups (150 g) graham cracker crumbs
  • 4 tbsp (60 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberry Layer: In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Stir gently and let it macerate for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Make the Graham Cracker Crust: In a separate bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until evenly combined.
  3. Whip the Cream: Using a cold bowl and beaters, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream.
  5. Assemble the Trifle: In each glass jar, layer graham cracker crust, cheesecake filling, and macerated strawberries. Repeat layers and finish with strawberries on top.
  6. Chill and Serve: Cover the jars and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use cold bowls and beaters for whipping cream to achieve soft peaks quickly. Macerate strawberries to enhance sweetness and juiciness. Assemble trifles close to serving time to keep crust crunchy. For dairy-free or gluten-free versions, substitute ingredients as suggested.
