Quick and easy cheesy turkey and cheese roll-ups perfect for snacks or light lunches, combining savory turkey with melted cheddar cheese and a creamy spread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 slices deli turkey (nitrate-free recommended)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, sliced or shredded
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon honey mustard (optional)
  • Pinch smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, honey mustard, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth.
  3. Lay out turkey slices on a clean surface. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture evenly over each slice, leaving a small border.
  4. Top each slice with cheddar cheese (about 2 tablespoons shredded or one slice).
  5. Roll each slice tightly from one end. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  6. Brush roll-ups lightly with olive oil or melted butter.
  7. Place roll-ups on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and outside is golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Do not overload cheese to prevent spilling during baking. Brush with olive oil or butter for a golden, crispy exterior. Use room-temperature cream cheese for easy spreading. Roll-ups can be prepared ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking; add extra baking time if baking cold. For reheating, bake at 350°F for 8 minutes to keep crispness.
