Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (90g) rolled old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk of choice (whole milk recommended)
  • 1/2 cup (120g) plain Greek yogurt (full-fat recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons (32g) creamy peanut butter (natural, no added sugar)
  • 1 scoop (about 30g) vanilla protein powder
  • 1–2 tablespoons (15-30ml) maple syrup or honey, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon (12g) chia seeds (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • For serving (optional): fresh banana slices, extra peanut butter drizzle, chopped peanuts, dark chocolate chips, Greek yogurt, cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and maple syrup or honey until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add rolled oats, vanilla protein powder, chia seeds (if using), and a pinch of salt. Stir until all oats are coated and no dry pockets remain.
  3. Divide the mixture evenly among 4 jars or airtight containers. Tap gently on the counter to settle.
  4. Optionally, add toppings like banana slices, peanut butter drizzle, or chopped peanuts.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight (8-12 hours).
  6. Before serving, let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes. Stir well and add fresh toppings as desired. Enjoy cold or warm in the microwave for 30-45 seconds.

Notes

For best texture, use rolled oats, not quick or steel-cut. Stir the oats halfway through soaking (around 3-4 hours) for even absorption. If oats are too thick in the morning, add a splash of milk. The flavor improves after a day or two.
